Duck Tape Card Table

I jazzed up our old ugly card table today with a couple rolls of Duck Tape. Who knew that Duck Tape came in all these fancy designer colors? Clearly it has been awhile since I stepped inside a JoAnns craft store.
Today I picked out a cute zebra print and a big black square of Duck Tape. Yes they make large sheets of this stuff too. I wanted the black square for the middle so when I host Bunko, we will be able to read the dice in the middle of the table.

The hardest part was removing the top of the table from the legs. The screws were really tight and you had to use a weird hexagon tool. I am sure hubby is shaking his head right now as I describe this tool and don't know it's technical name.

Once you get the top off just overlap the tape one on top of another. Screw the top back on and there you go!

I used one large black square and two rolls of zebra tape.

Cute idea, especially if you do a lot of game nights! My card table is NASTY from random craft projects and sitting in the garage. I might have to try this :)

Have to say the hubs wasn't that impressed though. His email to me that next morning, was: "What the f did you do to my poker table?"
