Last week went so fast. I felt like we had just arrived in San Diego and we were already driving home.
We had 2 Thanksgivings and it was great to see both sides of the family.
We celebrated Turkey Day on our side at my brother's house. I couldn't believe he offered to host it this year. I am so proud of the both of them. W&K did an awesome job. I can't believe what a clean house my brother lives in...well I can because he is married. Nothing like those UCSB days!
We also celebrated D's 2nd birthday during our Friday Thanksgiving. It was fun but next time I will not try to do 2 celebrations in one day. The kids were exhausted both were fighting over toys, D was mad because I bought cake (he would much rather enjoy a nice ripe tomato) and the present opening was too late in the evening. Let's just say "done." I could tell it was going to be a long 6 hour car ride back to AZ.
