The plan I am doing is only 4 weeks and just a sneak preview of the entire 12 week plan. So far I am impressed but also a little worried as I have to do squats and Burpees! Eeeek! During the first week you are given several challenges to see where you are at fitness-wise and that determines what level you will exercise at. As active as I am I wasn't surprised to be in the advanced category but emphasizing on getting lean. Lean is where I am lacking so I am very excited to start working on this.
The plan has me working out 6 days a week. 3 days are cardio, 2 days of toning and weights and one of just stretching. The plan also can be customized 4 different ways. There is an option to select called "At the Gym" if you prefer to workout at a gym. There is an "Outdoors" option is you crave working out outside. A "Group Classes" option is you want to take classes or are a spin instructor like I am! And also "At Home" option where you watch the videos Michelle has created on her site. That option is amazing as it's like an entire collection of DVDs that are included in this plan! I like the fact that I can change the options daily if I need to. So if I don't get to the gym that day and it's after dinner and I still haven't done my workout, I can just fire up my computer and do it via the online videos. I just did today's plan under the "Gym Machines" option and I liked it. It was challenging enough for me and it had me working my abs after I did my cardio.

Another cool thing about this program is the food! NO there is NOT any special food you have to buy. It's all organic and clean items you find in your local supermarkets or natural grocery stores. You are given a list of items to shop for each week and a recipe for every meal. My worry is now I actually have to cook. But hey that's where my downfall is, so this is going to help me. Sunday is prep day for the week and each day I will cook or you are allotted leftovers from the day before. It's all carefully spelled out for you with the calories and nutritional info as well. This is what a sample week looks like. I told hubby he's going to be eating like a king! Because these portions you cook up are for 2 people.

As you can see I am really excited to be selected for this program. It's coming at a really good time. I have trouble during the holidays and I hope this will keep me right on track. After next weekend I have a break in my training and this is my time to focus on eating clean and getting lean. It's not a fad diet program, and WON'T be taking any supplements, shots, shakes, or packaged food. Which NEVER work! All those "so called diets" do is get you to starve and drop weight fast. They never teach you how to cook or even have you exercise. This program is a lifestyle change and even better is that it's teaching my how to cook. Do I think it will be easy? No way. But it WILL BE worth it! The program can be found here and it costs around $19.99 a week. I was lucky enough to be selected via my ambassadorship with Girls Gone Sporty to try it for free as long as I followed the plan and gave honest feedback.
And just to hold myself accountable, these are my before photos.

Good luck! After the workout yesterday I want to do the whole 12 weeks :)
