Ultimate Coffee Date

The Ultimate Coffee Date hosted by Deborah, Lynda and Coco is back for 2015! I loved this link-up last year and enjoy having a virtual cup of coffee with my readers each month. I hope you'll join me in this post since blogging is so one sided. I enjoy hearing from you as well.

If we were having coffee I'd let you know... that biking has been low on my priority this month. Call me lazy but I just set up my bike on the trainer and now of course the weather turns perfect. I'm afraid if I take it off the trainer and switch out the tire all over again, we will get 3 feet of snow! Today it was 70 degrees, YES 70 degrees! I'm loving being able to run and soak up this sunshine. It's been so good for me to be outside. A few months ago I had a blood test and found out I had extremely low Vitamin D levels. I'm now paying much more attention to getting outside when the weather is nice.

If we were having coffee I'd let you know...  I was worried about my husband last week. He became ill and while I don't want to get personal, it caused quite a bit of stress on the family and deeply concerned me. I'm happy to report he's doing so much better and is finally on the mend. Thank goodness I need him healthy and happy!

If we were having coffee I'd let you know... In just a few weeks I will be running Ragnar Del Sol with 10 strangers. I roped my friend into running it with me so at least we will know each other. But honestly the fun part has been getting to know my teammates virtually. So excited that we all get to be a part of the #sweatpink team! Right now we are just finalizing all the details and before we know it the race will be in full swing. I'm feeling strong with my running right now and am actually looking forward to my 2:00 am running leg!

If we were having coffee I'd let you know... I received an email this week from Newton Running Shoes saying I was accepted as a 2015 brand ambassador! What does that mean? It's my chance to officially represent the company and in return these are the only shoes you'll see me wearing...well besides flip-flops I could never breakup with my flip-flops. As you know I fell in love with these shoes last year when I was recovering from my knee injury. You can read about it here. I no longer have any knee pain when I run since trying these shoes. I'm ecstatic to become a part of the Newton Running family. Currently I am running in the Kismet. It's a little more stable and stiffer than my previous Fate model. I encourage you to check out Newton's next time you are looking for new running shoes. You just might fall in love like I did.

Is your coffee cup empty? Ok, well go fill it up and let me know what you would tell me!
