Fab Five Favs

For all my new readers each month I post the five things that I am currently lovin' on and can't live without.

1) Ahnu Shoes

 I ordered a pair of these shoes when I came home from Luna Summit because I saw them there and could actually try them on. Love them! I was in desperate need of a new pair of hiking shoes. I have had the same pair for 15 years...yes really. Now that we are hiking a lot more as a family this was the right time to get a new pair. Mine are the Sequoia's and they fit like a glove! I had a hard time deciding on which one to get, they are all super cute. I have my eye on the Cityscape dressy boots next. Oops did I write that? Maybe my husband won't notice.

 2) Magazines

At any given point in time this is what my bedside table looks like. I am a magazine JUNKIE! P collects them for me on all his flights and sometimes he has to fight the flight attendants for them. I am like a kid when he opens up his suitcase each week as he pulls them out one by one. Typically with responses from me like "ooooohh People, that's a good one or In Touch...scoooore!" By now he knows my favorites and does an awesome job at keeping my supply current.

3) Fuel belt Bento box for my bike Fuel Belt

 This box sits on top of my bike frame near my handlebars. It doesn't hold much but it's perfect for keys and a cellphone. I also stuff some Shotblocks in there so I can eat them while I am riding. It's a great little pack and I like the way the zipper is designed so you can close it easy with one hand.

4) Uncrustables Sandwiches

No, not for the taste just for the simple fact that I am lazy. About 2-3 times a week we are heading out the door for school and I realize crap, I didn't make a lunch for my son! I am so glad he loves these things because he eats them a lot. You'd think one of these days I'd get my sh** together and pack his lunch the night before. Yea right, that would mean it would cut into my important nighttime TV watching (ie: Dance Moms or Real Housewives of OC).

5) White Dog

I really love my dog. It's no secret...shoot my blog is named after her. I love the fact that she doesn't bitch, whine, fight or throw things. She eats the same thing everyday and never complains about it. She goes to bed when she is told and doesn't wake me up twice a night to ask for water, to open her door, to be covered, to turn the cd back on or to find out if it is morning yet. I can always count on her to go take a walk with me without immediately asking when she can turn around and go back and she always greets me when I get home (even if I have only been gone 2 minutes).



Just thought I would add that I am not being compensated for any of the Fab Five posts. (But that would be pretty darn sweet if I was).  It is just my true and honest opinion about the things I like...take it or leave it!
