What a wonderful week filled with lots of fun times. Many amazing memories were made this week with our two families. It was hard to say goodbye. I posted quite a few pictures from the trip already but even more great photos can be found here on my sister in law's blog: here
The week we departed for Jackson Hole our little town was under a blaze of fire in the forest-land above our town. Our local firefighters were working hard to get it under control. As we returned home we soon learned that a new fire had broken out even farther from us but the same firefighters who fought the first one had now been called out to fight this new one. 19 firefighters from our town sadly lost their lives in the battle called the Yarnell fire. Prescott is a small town and while I don't know any of them personally, my heart aches for those men. It saddens me to know that these guys won't ever be able to return home.
