I go 36 years without ever breaking one bone in my body and now I have broken 2 in just 6 months.
I am a klutz. Actually I am a disaster.
The other night I smacked my pinky toe really hard on the kitchen island. Since the pain of breaking my foot (in April) was still fresh in my mind, I knew right away I had broken my toe. I waited a day and Monday went to the doctor to get an Xray and sure enough I had a decent-sized break in my pinky toe. At least the toe bone only takes about 12 days to heal.
What good can come out of this?
#1) It is forcing me to practice my swim for my next Triathlon in October. I have been swimming everyday this week and can already see an improvement in my time.
#2) My ugly distorted left pinky toe now matches the right.
Soon you will learn the art of "buddy taping" :)
