These are a few of my favorite things about this watch:
It is very easy to use. Just a simple push of a button gets you started and the GPS signals begins to activate. The only thing you have to remember is to stop the GPS mode after you finish your run or it will drain your battery so fast. And to stop I mean to go back to the "Time" section under "Applications".
It has a heart rate monitor. I love being able to watch my heart rate when I run so I know how hard to push or not to push myself. The heart rate monitor is a strap style that wraps around your chest. I find comfortable enough that I don't even realize I am wearing it. It's very lightweight compared to others I have tried.
The watch tells me when to eat or drink. I have to admit this I my most favorite function on the watch, it has been a wonderful training tool. Before the watch I would really pay that much attention to my fluids and food. And often times that would leave me in terrible shape and extremely thirsty. Now I have the watch set to vibrate (and beep) at every 15 mins for fluids and every 45 to eat (which usually means a gel pack) and I last so much longer on my runs and rides.
It's easy to upload your data when you get home. The watch comes with a plug that goes directly to your computer so upon returning home you can download all your history into Training Peaks (software program that was free). You can analyze and compare your stats on your computer. As a side note, you can review your stats right on the watch itself but its just the basic history, you get way more details when you upload at home.
As you can see I am very happy with the watch. It's been great for my half marathon training. I will continue to use it and recommend it to my friends.
