Dear D,
Just yesterday I touched your little hand for the very first time. This morning that same little hand will be holding mine as you walk into your very first classroom. Inside I will be fighting the urge to pull that hand back and to say "stay with Mommy a little longer, I am not ready to let you go." But deep down inside I know YOU are ready.... more than ready.
Enjoy your day and know that I will be counting the minutes until I greet you again. I will be waiting to hear about all the cool things you did today.
