The (Skirt) Chase is on.

A much needed adults only vacation is needed right about now (just in time for Valentine's Day). While planning this getaway I was trying to think of something fun to do that incorpoarted a run/race/ride along with a fun party atmosphere.

I came across a race down in Tempe called Skirt Chasers. It's a fun 5K where the girls line up first and the guys wait 3 minutes to start and then try to catch up with the girls. It also features a post race party with free booze! It's called Skirt Chasers because of the sponsor (Skirt Sports) so instead of the obligtory tech-tee the females get a super cute running skirt!

We have recently become close with a couple who also love to run and ride. So they will be joining us this weekend. I won't be making any bets this time about whether or not P will catch up to me. I know I am a slow runner-he will. But C (my friend) is pretty fast and he just might have a challenge to try and catch up to her!
