Birthday

I have a birthday coming up in a few days. Part of me is a little scared that I am getting that much closer to 40 but the other part of me is embracing it with open arms. I am excited to see what the next year will bring. My boys want to know what type of party I am going to have. Because to them it's all about the theme parties...hmm I wonder where they get that from?


I told them my theme is family. Since all I want this year is to have my family members home and with me on my birthday. P is actually home that day and my parents and grandmother will be arriving the very next day. I couldn't be more excited! 

So bring on the birthday cake and let's celebrate another great year! Cheers to family!

By the way...Mom, am I really 4 in this picture (# of candles on the cake)? Why do I look like I am only 2 years old????
