Fab Five Favs

It's time for the monthly FFFs:


1) Punkee Love Headbands 

 I love headbands! I have been on a quest to find the perfect one for my workouts. Most of them give me a headache after a half hour or they end up slipping off in the middle of a workout. I tried these and they rock! I love that they are adjustable and the inside is lined so it will NOT slip off your head. They have so many cool designs and colors to choose from!





2)  Dole Banana Dippers (Frozen) 

Yummmmmy! I discovered these at Costco a couple weeks ago. They are frozen banana bites dipped in dark chocolate. Need I say more? Four bites (which is just enough) is 100 calories. (Too bad the glass of Pinot Noir that goes so well with them is more than 100 calories).

3)  Harkins Summer Movies

Our local movie theater offers 10 movies for 7 bucks during the summer. We bought the packet of tickets a few months ago and you can pick what day of the week you want to attend. Every Wednesday we look forward to going to the movies. They are cute kids movies and the boys really enjoy going. I like that you don't have to show up an hour ahead of time to wait in line. You have an assigned day and there are plenty of seats available. And for less than a buck a movie I don't feel bad if the boys want to leave halfway through the feature.




4)  Music on the Square

Almost every evening during the summer the city of Prescott puts on free concerts. Each night is a different theme from Jazz to Rock to Blues. Last night we showed up with our lawn chairs and had a picnic dinner with our neighbors. The kids can run around and play and the adults can sit and enjoy the music. It was a perfect summer evening! A fun family tradition that I hope the boys can look forward to summer after summer...
