We stayed at a KOA that had a nice playground for the kids along with a big Kids Korral complete with a splash pad, mini golf and a bounce house. We liked to KOA but would have preferred to stay somewhere a little more secluded. We have lots of exploring to do and we will most definitely be back to check out the millions of other campgrounds.
Both P and I got in some good biking. There was a wonderful mountain bike trail that left from our campground that P got to ride. I prefer the road so I rode up highway 89 towards Sunset Volcano. It was a steep climb but a lot of fun. On that day I rode about 25 miles. The other ride I did was 30 miles. Yes 30 stinkin' 30 miles! I can't believe I did that. I have done close to that but set out a goal of 30 for this ride and I did it (AND under 2 hours too)! Not bad for being at 7000 feet. My route took me from downtown Flag out to Lake Mary. It was a scenic ride and I started early so I felt like I had the entire area to myself. This was certainly one of the better rides I have ever done!
A friend of mine from my MOMS Club came up for a few of the days. They have 3 kids so my boys enjoyed having friends to play with. It was a nice trip and we can't wait to go back someday.

The squirrels were really pissing off White Dog. They would screech and throw things down on her!

I did it!!! 30.27 in less than 2 hours!
T and P on the underground Lava Flow caves. (A&D stayed behind as this would have freaked him out).
These caves and the trail were all formed from lava rock. It was 85 degrees outside but inside the caves, it around 40 degrees. You had to bring flashlights since it was very dark.
