The new Luna Fiber Bars are only 3 Points?
How do I know this and why do I care? Well I joined Weight Watchers. There I
You probably saw that Weight Watchers was one of my Fab Five Favs for the month. It's for good reason. I packed on some pounds over the Spring and Summer. I wasn't paying attention to what I ate and with all of the working out I was doing maybe I just felt like I could eat all.day.long.
Not the case at 37 years old. I needed to set the "re-set" button. What worked for me years ago was Weight Watchers. I started about a month ago and so far have lost almost 10 pounds. It's not much but it's a start. I also had to take a break in my strict workout routine. It sounds crazy but I needed to workout less....see crazy? But I was working out 6 days a week. I backed off to 3 for now to focus on losing weight with really watching my portions and counting every single point I am allotted on Weight Watchers. I am focusing on making better choices (tough with small kids who demand attention and food immediately). I am limiting the snack foods unless it's fruit or veggies. I also "cheat" with anything that is 0 Points. For example grapefruit and dill pickles are zero. I eat those when I want a snack during the day. Fresh grapefruit after dinner sprinkled with a tiny bit of Stevia has been satisfying my nightly sweet tooth.
My goal in the weight loss is to help me with my speed. Yes all those extra pounds sure do slow you down...a lot.
I hope that once the scale starts going down the race times will follow suit.
