Here is the recipe of the really easy cookies we made for our local firefighters. We delivered these patriotic cookies to them on September 11 to say thank you for all that you do!
My boys had fun baking the cookies and decorating cards for them. The cookies taste really good too!
Patriotic 9/11 Cookie Recipe:
- 1 box French Vanilla Cake Mix
- 3/4 teaspoon of baking powder
- 2 eggs (I substituted Egg Beaters)
- 1/2 cup of oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- A mix of red, white and blue sprinkles
Combine the egg, oil and vanilla in small bowl. Stir the cake mix and the baking powder together. Pour the egg mixture into the dry mixture. Then stir in the sprinkles. Spoon onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 350 for 11 minutes. They should come out nice and chewy.
